LOW ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Our goals are to plan and to realise lasting products, that are made of recyclable materials, have low toxic contents and gas emissions and that are made exclusively using wood from sustainable sources.

IDROLEB ECOLOGICAL PANEL
Idroleb Ecological Panel, the marine grade Ecological panel Pedini uses is made of 100% post-consumption recycled wood and has the absolute lower formaldehyde gas emissions.
Production & Environment
Wherever possible, all wood rests that are left over from production are used for energy. This avoids large amounts of waste and optimally utilizes the raw material wood. Wherever possible we use wood and wood-based materials from sustainable forest management.
Evidence of the PEFC policy is reviewed by independent certification bodies each year.
Since the restart 2019, Alno has focused on the middle to upscale market segment. The sophisticated interior, characterized by international architecture, therefore is increasingly confronted with special demands.
These increasingly international projects have led Alno to convert production to the current CARB 2 material standard.
Recycling
When it comes to packaging, as far as possible, we avoid using Styrofoam and the carton is easy to dispose of. Its eco-balance is almost neutral because we use recycled material. Old electrical appliances are expertly disposed of in the recycling system, the kitchen sink goes to the scrap metal and all wooden parts are used for environmentally friendly energy production.

We don’t just think, we do
There are the materials we use: woods from sustainably-managed forests to prevent deforestation and toxic glue-free panels.
There are the processes: water-based gloss lacquering which reduces pollution both at home and in the factory, and the processing waste is reused to produce thermal energy.
There is the electricity provided by the photovoltaic solar panels and our packaging systems are so innovative and “green” that Amazon itself wanted to study them.
There is also sustainable thinking. The awareness that a durable product that consumers will not become bored of and throw out after a short period of time, is capable of being timeless: elegant yet simple furnishings with clean lines.
