Concrete effect kitchen doors

This contemporary kitchen project was completed by IN Design Kitchens & Living Spaces, in Sissinghurst, a small village in the heart of Kent.

This project was very special to me.

Mrs Clark’s daughter approached me to help her mum and dad to redesign their kitchen so that her mother can enjoy her time in her house and space.

I suggested materials which were easy to maintain and appliances which were easy to use. Laminate wood effect worktops rather than solid wood was something which was cost effective but also easy to keep clean. Siemens hob and ovens were chosen carefully so they were easy to use and I made sure that the programmes were not complicated.

Green tiles made the room look very welcoming and sophisticated just like my lovely customer Mrs Clark.

Concrete effect kitchen doors were perfect to give the kitchen a sleek look but also something which was easy to wipe clean. These units tied in beautifully with the slate effect floor tiles. 

The end result of this project was that I managed to make Mrs Clark very happy and I formed a lovely bond with her, a new friend in Sissinghurst, and I kept my promise of giving her a very practical kitchen to enjoy for many years to come.
